The Idea Works 'Summer lab' 2011 - Bath Spa Uni
12th-13th July 2011.
11.30AM-4.00PM.

Suitable for a variety of skills and experience e.g. dancers, musicians and artists.

Drawing on current project themes ("Let's be Frank" and "body landscape - moving image"), the lab aims to mobilise a creativity that comes from the dancer's inner space. Click the icon for our ways of working, themes and concepts and download a booking form.

 Starts on the first week of October. Venue to be announced.
4-6.30 pm.

Everyone welcome. Together we plan to develop a mixed
ability group to tour events and youth centres in the local area.

A mix of contemporary dance and physical theatre.

£3.50 per session.

Scratch Orchestra - Shape of Sound                                                                                                   Autumn 2011 dates pending.

Exciting music making - take 2 days and up to 20 talented musicians with professionals to guide you through creating an entirely fresh piece of music.

Whatever your skills - beginner or trained musician - bring any instrument - if you don't have one we have an expert who will work with you on making sound from found materials. We are making a video diary during the workshop, everyone gets a copy. We finish with a performance of our composition with improvisation by professional dancers.
